L2 Full Stack Software Engineer ( Exp: 3-5 )
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively in a fast-growing startup building products and services for positive social impact.
- From the ground-up, architect available, secure, reliable back-end systems for the web, mobile, and IVR
- Implementing server-side code and designing the data architecture using modern web frameworks.
- Write, test, and release world-class, production-ready code
Desired Profile
- 3-5 years experience building web-scale, highly available backends for web and/or mobile. Degree in Computer Science or related field a plus
- 3+ years experience with Django, Celery, and Django REST Framework
- Expertise in writing with and using Django extensions
- Experience in data model design and data manipulation in MySQL and Postgres
- Experience with a popular open-source Javascript Framework (e.g. Angular, Node, React, Ember, or Backbone).
- Strong problem-solving skills; attention to detail
- Skill in deploying and maintaining services in the Debian + Ubuntu environments
- Knowledge of document, key/value. big data or another non-relational database system such as Elastic Search, Redis, HBase, BigTable, and Dynamo are a plus.
Bonus if you have experience in
- Designing and implementing a CI/CD pipeline
- Scaling cloud infra and big data services like AWS Glue, Redshift, Athena
- Plenty of complex technical problems for positive social impact
- Monitoring and leading a team using agile methods
